Alicia, or Ali as she is known on the Bootcamp, attained her Bachelor's of Science summa cum laude in Paralegal Studies. She was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and named to the President's List. Ali was the recipient of the President's Medallion for Academic Excellence and the recipient of the President's Medallion for Excellence in the Paralegal Sciences Program. Ali worked as a Paralegal in law offices and other legal settings for several years before having to leave the work force for medical reasons.
Ali has always been interested in arts and crafts since she was a child. She discovered the wonderful art of making wire jewelry in January of 2007 after discovering one of Preston's websites. Ali was immediately drawn to and fell in love with the beautiful and graceful lines that wire sculpting achieved. Since that time, Ali has been an avid wire jewelry maker. She particularly likes working with sterling silver and copper wire to make her designs.
Ali currently writes jewelry making patterns for the Wire Jewelry Bootcamp. This also lends itself to another passion of hers - teaching. Ali loves to teach others on how to make jewelry. She loves to share her passion, joy and knowledge of wire work and sculpting wearable art with others.
Ali and Tom, her husband, share their New Jersey home with two rescued cats by the names of Socks and Sweet Pea.
