Carol Braden-Williams
Carol Braden-Williams is an accomplished wire jewelry artist and silversmith and has owned and operated her own jewelry business since 1991. She studied English and business at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah, cosmetology at Glamor Tress School of Beauty in Kansas City, Missouri and worked in credit and collections for 17 years before finding her true calling in the wire jewelry trade.
Along with selling her handcrafted sterling silver jewelry, she now teaches wire jewelry classes to small groups of eager students in the Independence, Missouri, area where she lives and works in her home studio. Carol's jewelry has been sold at several Kansas City, Missouri, area retail stores, including her own, but is now sold exclusively through her online store, SilverTrove.
As an active member of The Wire Jewelry Bootcamp and gemstone forum guru she enjoys exchanging ideas and knowledge with other wire jewelersabout their jewelry and the gemstones they use.
Carol won first place in the advanced catagory of the Wire Jewelry Bootcamp Snapset Pendant Contest. She recently won the Wire Artist of the Month for September 2011 and is the first wire artist on the Wall of Fame here on the Wire Jewelry Bootcamp.
